The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid course is intended for all individuals involved in child care who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency involving a child, including child-care and foster-care workers, teachers, recreation and other community program staff, camp counselors, sports coaches and trainers, new parents, guardians, and other caretakers.
Upon completion of this course, students receive American Heart Association Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid certification that is valid for two years.**
AHA requires each student to have the current student manual during training. They are available for purchase during registration or you may bring your own.
