Here is another story of a life saved by CPR. A young boy playing baseball is hit in the chest by a foul ball, resulting in his heart to stop beating. Bystanders leap into action and performed CPR, getting the boy’s heart beating again.
I just want to emphasize that this is another case where the victim was a family member or someone that was close to the person performing CPR. In 80% of the time, this will be the case. That is why CPR training and certification is so important. You never know when you may need to use it.
